Terms of Service

Last updated: February 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NapStack, operated by Software Help LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

NapStack is a control plane that helps you provision and manage temporary AWS environments in your own AWS account. We do not host your applications or data. Infrastructure is created and billed directly by AWS to your account.

2. Your AWS Account

To use the Service, you must connect an AWS account and grant NapStack limited permissions via a cross-account IAM role. You are responsible for maintaining access. If permissions are revoked or modified, the Service may be unable to manage your resources.

3. Costs and Billing

You are responsible for all AWS charges incurred in your AWS account. NapStack provides automation and cost controls, but we cannot guarantee AWS charges will be prevented in all circumstances.

NapStack fees are charged according to your selected plan and billing terms displayed at checkout. If access to your AWS account is lost, NapStack may pause billing for a limited grace period. If access is not restored, billing may resume until the environment is deleted or access is restored.

4. Disconnection and Access Loss

If NapStack cannot access your AWS account (for example, due to a deleted IAM role, changed trust policy, or account restrictions), we may be unable to stop, start, or monitor resources. Your resources may continue running and incurring AWS charges. You should monitor and manage resources directly in the AWS Console if access is lost.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Maintain your AWS account, credentials, and billing.
  • Ensure NapStack permissions remain active for automation to work.
  • Review cost estimates and budget alerts before deployment.
  • Secure your applications and data hosted in your AWS account.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but it may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or events beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that automation will prevent all costs.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NapStack will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if your use poses a security or compliance risk. Upon termination, your AWS resources will remain in your AWS account unless you delete them.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
